Kiira Motors Factory: CFA Piling and Integrity Testing

Project Description:
Following other projects with NEC, the company chose to continue their relationship with EA Piling by contracting us to install 114no. 600mm diameter CFA piles, each to 12m depth or refusal. The piles would form the foundation for the new Kiira Motor Corporation Factory in Jinja.
EA Piling supplied a car mixer to mix concrete for the project. We worked quickly using our Soilmec CM50 CFA rig to deliver 10 piles per working day. The client was again satisfied with our performance.
Once complete, we conducted integrity tests on all piles and the piles were found to be satisfactory.
